Our Story

Unlocking the Highest Audio Performance

Rick Schultz Audio designs and manufactures high-end audio cables and accessories for the most discerning audiophiles—listeners who seek to experience their music with extraordinary clarity, realism, and emotional impact. Our mission is simple: remove barriers between the listener and the music so every system can perform at its absolute best.

What makes Rick Schultz Audio products truly unique compared to traditional audiophile cables is our groundbreaking Vortex Magnetic Waveguide Technology. This innovative magnetic conduction technology allows high-end audio systems to deliver cleaner signal transmission and a more faithful reproduction of music, revealing subtle details, expansive soundstages, and the natural character of every recording.

Rick Schultz Audio was founded in 2024 in Calgary, Canada by Rick Schultz, together with his daughter Brittany Stoik and her husband Bradley Stoik. Rick serves as CEO and Chief Designer and brings more than 25 years of experience designing and manufacturing high-end audio cables during his time with companies such as Virtual Dynamics and High Fidelity Cables.

Rick’s passion for audio began as a teenager when he started upgrading the sound system in his car. But it was his first visit to a hi-fi store that truly changed everything. Hearing a high-quality music system for the first time opened his ears to what was possible in music playback, inspiring him to build his own home hi-fi system. As his curiosity and passion grew, Rick began modifying and upgrading audio gear, eventually leading him to open his own hi-fi shop and begin designing cables that could push system performance even further.

Today, Rick continues to lead product development and cable design, while Brittany contributes to manufacturing assembly, packaging design, and shipping logistics. Bradley focuses on engineering development and manufacturing assembly, helping bring new designs from concept to finished product.

Designed and Hand Built in Canada

Every Rick Schultz Audio product is proudly designed and hand built in Canada. From initial concept and engineering to final assembly and quality testing, every cable and accessory is carefully crafted at our manufacturing facility in Vega, Alberta. This hands-on approach allows us to maintain strict quality control and ensure that every product meets the high standards expected by discerning audiophiles.

Unlike mass-produced audio cables, Rick Schultz Audio products are assembled with meticulous attention to detail using carefully selected materials and proprietary design techniques. Each cable is built with the precision required to support the performance of today’s most revealing high-end audio systems, where even the smallest improvements in signal integrity can transform the listening experience.

By keeping design, engineering, and manufacturing under one roof in Canada, we are able to continually refine our products and push the boundaries of audiophile cable performance. This commitment to craftsmanship ensures that every Rick Schultz Audio cable delivers the clarity, musicality, and reliability that serious music lovers demand.
